It is rare to find someone as enthusiastic and committed to Property Management as Carmel. With a career in this specialized field that was commenced in 1979 she has been part of many changes and challenges in this highly demanding role as a Property Manager and still thrives on the work that it brings.
She is sometimes referred to by colleagues as “The Property Management Guru” which could be taken as a compliment and recognition that for a seven year period she was responsible for the largest rent role for a well known Franchise Office in Brisbane which also enabled her to take executive positions with the Real Estate of Queensland Property Management Chapter as Vice Chairman and Chairman for several years and to be part of the industry consultative committee for the Residential Tenancies Act and Amendments, The previous Auctioneer & Agents Act, and to deliver training and guest speaking roles at various conferences, in Australia and New Zealand. She also enjoyed her experiences in the strata management field when she was given the opportunity of being the South East Queensland Manager for Body Corporate Services for 18 months (they are the largest strata manager in Australia and ranked 6th in the world).
Her “hands on” role as Senior Property Manager, ensures that lessors, tenants and colleagues have someone at the helm who is knowledgeable, reliable and through years of experience, can offer sound problem solving alternatives when times get difficult.
She thoroughly enjoys working with her husband Phillip and they form a brilliant partnership with sales and property management when investment advice on selling or renting is required.
